I’m guessing that if you are here, you probably want to know a little about me. Well, I’m a 19 year old male that lives in the heartland of the U.S.A. I love to play video games, golf, and, obviously, program. I go to Wichita State University and am currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science. I’ve been programming since the summer after 6th grade year. I started out in a fun little visual program, called Scratch, used to create games and interactive projects that you can post online for the world to see. It was an awesome time but I soon outgrew it and knew I needed to tackle something more advanced. How about iOS app development? Sounds good. (iOS wasn’t even called iOS back then! It was iPhone OS 2 with iPhone OS 3.0 in beta. Crazy!) That’s where I went and am still there today. I’ve dabbled a little bit in web, then PC applications and games (Mac and Windows), but kept quickly being drawn back into the wonderful world of iOS. Why leave what you love? You don’t, or at least I don’t.
I’ve done contract work for the past 5 years and have loved almost every minute of it. The people you meet are amazing (well, most of them) and there are constant new challenges. I prefer to work on things that are new and original to the world and new and original with respect to things I have worked on. I’ve done magic apps, games, demos, and even tutoring. I used to run a youtube channel that hosted video tutorials but time got in the way and I couldn’t push out any more videos. I plan on posting written tutorials covering various aspects of programming here and maybe, just maybe, if you are good, I’ll post a video here occasionally.
